Confort Labs Selected as Final Winner in the Startup Category of the Manufacturing AI Competition

Confortlab, a manufacturing operations management (AX) solution company, announced on the 8th that it was selected as the final winner in the startup category of the 1st Manufacturing AI Contest hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Team. Confortlab was the only early-stage company in its third year of establishment to be selected in recognition of the technological prowess and commercial viability of its manufacturing AX full-process integrated platform, "PORTA."

PORTA is a solution that connects factory equipment, sensors, and communication devices to digitize operational data and provide integrated support for production optimization, quality control, facility management, and energy management. It detects facility failures in advance, prevents downtime, and analyzes the causes of defects in real time to increase productivity. All engineering stages are designed with a no-code approach, reducing deployment costs and time, while also offering high usability for system changes and maintenance.

Confortlab is expanding its business by proving the effectiveness of its solutions in various manufacturing sites. It is expanding its portfolio of applications by providing photo solutions to a Korean factory DX project for Japan's largest electronics component company, an interior materials supplier for a major domestic company, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in areas such as automotive parts, food, and packaging.

This selection will allow Confort Lab to receive preferential treatment in future smart manufacturing innovation support projects and additional benefits, including promotional support. Based on this, the company plans to proactively identify companies seeking to build smart factories next year and expand its solution offerings.

CEO Kim Ki-joong evaluated this award as an official recognition of the field applicability of Confortlab's solution, and expressed his goal to support the AI transition of manufacturing companies and grow into an AX solution that can be utilized in global fields.
