Coas Co., Ltd. (Respective CEOs: Min Kyung-joong and Noh Byeong-gu) announced on December 8 that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Korea Livestock Data Co., Ltd. (CEO: Kyeong No-gyeom) at its headquarters in Dangsan, Seoul, to discover new businesses based on animal medicine and AI/data.
Korea Livestock Data is a company that provides AI-based livestock healthcare solutions, boasting capabilities in disease management and data analysis in livestock farms. The two companies plan to continue ongoing discussions to explore potential collaboration in animal medicine and AI/data-based technologies.
The agreement includes collaboration in healthcare sectors, including veterinary medicine; cooperation in building One Health infrastructure, including data centers and renewable energy; and information exchange to explore future business models. Currently in the initial review phase, specific commercialization decisions will be determined through market and business feasibility analyses.
Coas stated, “This MOU is a preliminary measure to examine the possibility of entering a new business, and the scope and details of future cooperation will be carefully determined through further review.”
