Cha Sang-hoon, Head of Business at Pentacle, Receives the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award for Contributions to the Development of the Advertising Industry in 2025.

Cha Sang-hoon, CEO of Pinflow and head of Pentacle Business, received the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award at the 39th Korea Advertising Awards Ceremony for Meritorious Advertisers held at the Grand Ballroom of The Plaza Hotel in Seoul on the 2nd.

Since 1992, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has annually awarded government awards to advertisers who have contributed to the development of the advertising industry around Advertising Day. This year, recipients were recognized for their contributions in pioneering new advertising fields, fostering talent, and fostering a culture of advertising. The selection process was finalized after a review by a panel of advertising experts, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Public Service Review Committee, and a qualification verification process by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

The CEO of Cha Business Group, who has been working in the advertising industry for over 20 years, was commended for his leadership in the transition to a digital-centric advertising ecosystem and the development of technology-based creative industries.

According to the Korea Advertising Federation's '2024 Advertising Agency Status Survey', Pentacle recorded advertising handling amount of 190 billion won in 2024, a 26% increase from the previous year, and ranked 11th in terms of handling amount among domestic advertising agencies.

Furthermore, Pentacle announced its new brand slogan, "AI + Creative + Data," in August, declaring its leap forward as an AI creative company. Through this initiative, the company is expanding its offerings to include AI-based marketing strategy consulting, advertising performance optimization, and customer segment analysis.

CEO Cha Sang-hoon said, “I believe that continuously operating and developing the advertising business is in itself a contribution to the industry,” and added, “We will continue to strive to expand the future of the advertising industry and support customer success through AI-centered technological innovation.”
