Semits wins $7 million export tower award on Trade Day.

Semits, a semiconductor logistics automation system specialist, announced on the 4th that it had received the $7 Million Export Tower Award at a Trade Day event. This award is official recognition of its core technological prowess in the semiconductor full-process logistics sector and its achievements in expanding its global business.

Founded in 2014, Semits has specialized in AMHS (Semiconductor Manufacturing Automation Systems). It has secured technology in Overhead Hoist Transport (OHT), essential for semiconductor logistics throughout the entire semiconductor process, and in the clean conveyor system that links it. In particular, it is recognized as the only company in Korea with this technological capability in the entire process.

The company has consistently invested in the development of new solutions, as well as core technologies. The successful commercialization of the Nitrogen Purge System, developed in 2021, has earned recognition for its technological prowess from major semiconductor companies in China and Japan. This solution was developed to meet the growing demand for nitrogen filling processes driven by the increasing integration of semiconductors. Its differentiated structure from existing methods has garnered market attention.

A Semits representative said, “The nitrogen purge system is a solution that simultaneously improves the stability and efficiency of our customers’ processes, and inquiries from global customers are steadily increasing,” adding, “We will accelerate the expansion of our overseas business.”
