The Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education signed a business agreement with the Korean Women Dentists Association.

The Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education (Director Kim Sam-hwa) under the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korean Women Dentists Association (President Jang So-hee) on December 4 to promote gender equality culture and violence prevention awareness.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to pursue various cooperative projects, including ▲cooperation in education and exchange to improve gender awareness, ▲discovery of female talent and improvement of representation, ▲promotion to spread awareness of gender equality and violence prevention, and ▲other mutual business support and promotion of friendship.

This agreement aims to expand awareness of gender equality in various fields, including dentistry, by linking the expertise and resources of both organizations and to contribute to the creation of a gender-equal social environment.

Kim Sam-hwa, President of the Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education, said, “We hope that this collaboration will have a positive effect on increasing the representation of women in the medical field and spreading a culture of gender equality. We will continue to work to spread a culture of gender equality throughout our society by establishing a cooperative system with various specialized fields.”
