Senior total care company Caredoc (CEO Jae-Byeong Park) announced on the 4th that it won the Special Award for Outstanding Companies (Minister of Public Administration and Security Award) at the 13th Government-wide Public Data Utilization Startup Competition.
The government-wide public data utilization startup competition, a program designed to promote private sector utilization of public data and support innovative startups and commercialization, was held this year under the theme, "Synergy between AI and public data: Unlocking innovation." Special awards will be presented to companies that have demonstrated business excellence and innovation, selected from among previous winners.
Caredoc has been highly praised for its integrated platform offering senior care services spanning the entire life cycle, including hospital, home, institutional care, and senior housing. At the 7th National Long-Term Care Facility Competition in 2019, Caredoc won the Grand Prize (Prime Minister's Award) for its "Long-Term Care Facility Finder" service, securing access to public data from the National Health Insurance Service and the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. The company subsequently commercialized the Senior Care Facility Finder service, which provides comprehensive information on nursing facility evaluations and costs nationwide.
Going forward, Caredoc plans to comprehensively strengthen and renew its platform services, focusing on finding care facilities. The goal is to create an integrated care platform that addresses everything from care services to facility use and senior housing. Caredoc will focus on reducing care fragmentation and enhancing user convenience.
Park Jae-byeong, CEO of Caredoc, said, “It is meaningful to be recognized for our efforts to reduce the burden of social care by utilizing public data,” and added, “As Korea’s leading senior platform, we will continue to innovatively solve problems in the care field based on senior care data.”
