Autonomous A2Z Selected as Participating Company in the AI Future Vehicle Alliance

Autonomous A2Z (CEO Jihyung Han, hereinafter referred to as A2Z) announced on the 2nd that it was selected as a participating company in the 'AI Future Car Alliance'.

The M.AX Alliance is a national public-private partnership led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the goal of accelerating the transition to AI in the domestic manufacturing industry. It includes approximately 1,000 companies, research institutes, and academia. The alliance is divided into ten sectors, including autonomous vehicles, and leading manufacturing companies and AI specialists in each sector will jointly pursue technology and product development. The government plans to create over 100 trillion won in added value through this initiative by 2030.

The AI Future Car Alliance aims to build a future car ecosystem centered on autonomous driving, focusing on the provision of SDV platforms by 2028 and the mass production of end-to-end (E2E) autonomous driving technology by 2030. Hyundai Motor Company, HL Mando, Hyundai Mobis, and LG Electronics are participating as anchor companies, while AI technology companies, including A2G, will provide technical support. A2G, with its global technological prowess and capabilities across all areas of autonomous driving, including software, hardware, infrastructure, and control, will play a substantial role in achieving the alliance's goals.

A2G operates 62 autonomous vehicles in domestic urban areas and public roads, accumulating over 740,000 kilometers of driving experience. Building on this experience, A2G deployed its Level 4 autonomous vehicle, ROii, at the APEC 2025 event and is expanding its technology into global markets such as Singapore, the UAE, and Japan. Building on its domestic and international operational experience, the company plans to focus on software development and vehicle production, contributing to the transition to AI-powered future vehicles and the commercialization of autonomous driving.

CEO Han Ji-hyung said, “Autonomous driving is a field where software and vehicles are organically connected and completed on actual roads,” and added, “Autonomous A2Z is a company representing K-autonomous driving, and we will work with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, KEIT, and KAAM to serve as a stepping stone for Korea to leap forward as a future vehicle powerhouse.”
