MyPcha and Japanese franchise company Entree signed a business agreement for mutual expansion between Korea and Japan.

Franchise startup platform MyPcha announced on the 1st that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Japan's startup platform Entree on November 28th in Japan to establish a joint network for mutual advancement and global expansion of franchise businesses in both Korea and Japan.

Founded in 1997, Entree is a leading Japanese startup platform company, supporting aspiring entrepreneurs through its franchise, agency, and consignment recruitment advertising businesses. It also operates the Japanese startup information site "Entreenet," providing startup-related information and franchise business matching services.

Under this agreement, the two companies will collaborate in three areas: mutual introductions and matching of Korean and Japanese franchise businesses, market research and market entry support for both countries, and joint seminars and online and offline marketing collaboration. MyPcha will select Korean franchise brands seeking to enter the Japanese market and connect them with the Entree platform. Entree, in turn, will select Japanese companies seeking to enter the Korean market and support their entry into the domestic market through MyPcha.

The two companies plan to leverage their respective networks to provide more sophisticated business matching and develop practical solutions for franchise business expansion. Furthermore, to strengthen the sharing of startup information, they will operate regular joint programs, including online seminars and offline conferences, to showcase trends and success stories in the franchise markets of both countries.

MyPcha CEO Kim Jun-yong stated, "This agreement marks the first collaboration between the two countries' startup platforms. He added, "This will facilitate the entry of Korean brands into Japan and the expansion of Japanese brands into the Korean market." Based on this MOU, MyPcha plans to accelerate the expansion of its global franchise network, including Japan, and actively support the overseas expansion of domestic brands.
