Vision AI solution company Alchera announced on the 1st that it was selected as a performing company in the financial sector for the 'Supply Chain Security Model Construction Project' hosted by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) and the Ministry of Science and ICT.
Through a public offering process that began in March, KISA selected a total of eight companies across four sectors—finance, transportation, healthcare, and security—and Alchera will participate as a contractor in the financial sector. With the expansion of digitalization in financial services, the importance of supply chain security management is growing, making the establishment of a full-cycle supply chain management system essential.
For this project, Alchera plans to establish a customized security management system for the financial sector based on the Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), presenting a supply chain security model that simultaneously addresses vulnerability management, regulatory compliance, and risk control. As the contractor building the AI-based facial recognition-based SBOM supply chain security model, Alchera will be responsible for ensuring security not only at the customer authentication stage but also across the entire financial IT system and software, ensuring stability and transparency.
Alchera CEO Hwang Young-gyu said, "This selection is a testament to Alchera's technological prowess and reliability. We will provide solutions that meet financial regulatory compliance and security innovation, thereby strengthening the financial industry's credibility and global competitiveness."
