Predictions selected as a "Tips" by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups

Prediction , which is developing an AI platform to optimize electric vehicle battery operation, announced on the 28th that it was finally selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' TIPS (Television, Innovation, and Startup Support Program).

Prediction attracted seed investment from deep-tech accelerator Bluepoint Partners in December of last year, and with this TIPS selection, it will receive up to 600 million won in additional R&D and commercialization funding over the next two years.

The company is developing a battery AI platform called 'EView' based on a single foundation model, which features integrated analysis of the entire electric vehicle value chain, spanning charging, batteries, operation, logistics, and remanufacturing.

In particular, the company is prioritizing the B2B electric vehicle market for commercial use, including logistics and taxis, and is developing solutions to optimize fleet operations in cooperation with mid-sized logistics companies and battery remanufacturing companies.

Kim Min-seon, a senior evaluator at Bluepoint, said, “We took note of Prediction’s differentiated AI technology and integrated platform approach,” and added, “This TIPS selection will serve as an opportunity for the company to grow into a key player in the domestic and international electric vehicle markets.”

Kim Du-ho, CEO of Prediction (professor at Kyung Hee University), said, “By being selected as a TIPS, we have been recognized for our safety and asset value management technology,” and added, “Based on our precision diagnostic technology, we will dominate the commercial vehicle market and strengthen cooperation with charging infrastructure and battery recycling and reuse companies to contribute to the establishment of a circular economy for domestic electric vehicle batteries.”
