
The Korean Red Cross Blood Management Center announced that it won the grand prize in the non-profit Instagram category at the 11th 2025 Social Media of the Year. This award recognizes the center's outstanding digital communication efforts aimed at promoting blood donation culture and strengthening public communication.
'SNS of the Year' is Korea's representative SNS awards ceremony hosted by the Korea Social Content Promotion Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, and this year marks its 11th anniversary.
The Blood Management Headquarters has been actively communicating with blood donors through various social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and blogs, and is focusing on providing the public with necessary information quickly and accurately.
In particular, Instagram was evaluated to have achieved high user response and positive participation by operating a content strategy tailored to the platform's characteristics, such as card news, reels, and interactive posts.
The Blood Management Headquarters announced that it will further strengthen the quality of its content to effectively deliver the information the public needs and promote the value of blood donation in various ways.
