Glassdom Signs Strategic Partnership with CofinitiX

Glassdom, a carbon emissions data management solution company, announced on the 27th that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Cofinity X, the operator of Catena-X, a European automotive supply chain data alliance. Through this collaboration, Glassdom will integrate Cofinity X's Data Space OS (DOS) into its platform and establish a carbon data interoperability and secure exchange system between complete vehicle OEMs and suppliers.

Glassdome achieved this milestone based on its European subsidiary established in March of this year, and plans to leverage this foundation as a core foundation for future local business development. CatenaX, an industry data consortium led by European automakers such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen, is establishing global standards for the consistent sharing of carbon data across the supply chain.

CofinityX is the first operator and core supporter of CatenaX, providing Data Space OS and related services and marketplaces that enable data standardization, security, and sovereign exchange. Glassdom has integrated DOS and Eclipse Data Space Connector (EDC) into its platform to securely transmit Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data to OEMs in accordance with ISO 14067 and CatenaX certification standards, and has established a system to receive partner data in standardized formats.

“Our collaboration with Glassdom will expand the use of Data Space OS and simplify accessibility to OEM and supplier networks,” said Thomas Roesch, CEO of CofinitiX. Taejin Yoon, President of Glassdom Europe, added, “The CatenaX-based data exchange architecture is essential for complying with EU supply chain regulations, and through this collaboration, we will support manufacturers in their global regulatory compliance and supply chain response.”
