
The Ulsan Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Kim Heon-seong, hereinafter referred to as the Ulsan Center) announced on the 25th that five companies fostered by the Center won Innovation Awards at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world's leading consumer technology expo. The five winners are Crosshub, Dataflare, StellaVision, Ripla, and Aitech.
CES is a global technology exhibition attended by 3,000 to 5,000 companies each year. The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) evaluates innovative technologies across various fields and awards innovation awards. It is considered a prestigious international stage, with entry fees ranging from $799 to $999.
CrossHub received the Best Innovation Award for its blockchain-based identity verification and easy payment service, "Financial Passport by ID Block and B·Pay." This service simplifies identity verification and payment for short-term foreign visitors using domestic infrastructure services, achieving significant results just one year and six months after its launch.
Dataflare won an innovation award for its AI-based ship identification and carbon emissions monitoring platform, Port Guardian AI. This solution has also been recognized for its technological prowess and scalability in the global market.
StellarVision won the Innovation Award for its compact indoor rescue radar device, StellarRescue, which utilizes AI and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) technology. StellarRescue supports firefighters' search for life in indoor rescue situations and is being applied in various industries, including disaster response and urban monitoring.
Ripla won an innovation award for its recycled plastic flake analysis device, the Puri-Checker. This device uses optical recognition and deep learning to identify nine types of plastic and metal particles, contributing to improved recycling quality.
Aettech won the Innovation Award for its mobile AI-powered resource recycling solution, "Multi-Tron." Multi-Tron, an AI- and robotics-based system that instantly sorts and collects urban waste on-site, presents a new model for resource recycling infrastructure.
The Ulsan Center stated that this award demonstrates its commitment to securing global technological competitiveness, and that it plans to strengthen its support for startups' overseas expansion and follow-up efforts in the future. CEO Kim Heon-seong stated, "We will continue to support global expansion and technological advancement beyond simple awards."
