Daejeon Innovation Center Ends '2nd Speed 2025 Program'

The Daejeon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation announced that it, in collaboration with the Daejeon Metropolitan City, held the "2nd Speed Network 2025 Program" at the Daejeon Startup Park headquarters on the 20th. This program, part of the "2025 Daejeon Startup Park Private Operator Support Project," aimed to bring together diverse members of the startup ecosystem to build a rapid collaborative network.

The event was attended by companies selected for the pre-startup package, graduates, incubation and resident companies, and local startup network communities. It was conducted in collaboration with various organizations, including the Chungcheong Angel Investment Hub. Private operators Lets Co., Ltd., JB Ventures, and Philosophy Ventures, along with Korea Investment Accelerator, Blue Point Partners, Re Ventures, Future Science and Technology Holdings, People Investment, Simsan Ventures, Daedeok Venture Partners, Kite Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation, Etri Holdings, and Low Partners, participated in total, bringing together approximately 100 people. Twenty-one investment firms and institutions, along with 40 startups, participated.

Beyond simple networking, the event offered a variety of collaborative programs, including Worknect among startup ecosystem members, 3:1 group meetups between startups and investors, and 1:1 meetups by sector. Furthermore, expert mentoring was provided in conjunction with the Chungcheong Region Pre-Startup Package Joint IR, SK, and the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund and Korea Technology Finance Corporation, providing participating startups with practical advice on corporate collaboration strategies and financial and guarantee support.

The Daejeon Innovation Center evaluated this event as an opportunity to foster partnerships between startups and investors and promote private-sector-led growth in the local startup ecosystem. CEO Park Dae-hee stated that he will continue to build collaborative networks and strive to strengthen the local startup ecosystem.
