
The "Public Sector AI Innovation Strategy Workshop," co-hosted by global AI and data services company Gruve Korea and domestic security firm Core Security, took place on the 21st at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Under the theme "Finding Answers in AI Technology for the Future of Public Services," the event aimed to share applicable case studies and implementation strategies for public institutions.
The workshop was attended by domestic and international experts as speakers, including Professor Baek Yoon-heung of Seoul National University, Kim Hyun-jo, CEO of KU Convergence Software Research Center, Jong-hang Xiong, AI solution architect at Groove, and Lim Young-ik, CEO of Intellicon Research Institute. Professor Baek Yoon-heung introduced data protection technologies and utilization methods such as homomorphic encryption (HE) and trusted execution environments (TEE), emphasizing the importance of building a secure public AI environment. CEO Kim Hyun-jo and architect Jong-hang Xiong explained public service innovation strategies based on agentic AI and methods for building AI systems and complying with regulations. CEO Lim Young-ik presented a case study on legal risk management in the public sector using a solution with CSAP-level security.
A Core Security representative evaluated this workshop as a meaningful opportunity to discuss the adoption of AI in public institutions and the challenges of strengthening security, and announced plans to provide specialized security systems and services for public institutions in the future. Groove Korea stated that through this workshop, it plans to continue contributing to resolving AI governance and security issues in public institutions and lead the public AI market.
