Everybot Mobility and Shanghai Bangbang Robotics Sign MOU for Robot Wheelchair Business Cooperation

Everybot Mobility, a subsidiary of AI service robot specialist Everybot, announced on the 21st that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Shanghai BangBang Robotics, known for its Robooter brand, for cooperation in the robot wheelchair business.

Shanghai Bangbang Robotics is a Chinese company specializing in smart robot chairs and a leader in the robotic wheelchair market. Everybot Mobility, a subsidiary of Everybot established last year, is conducting research and development on AI-powered autonomous wheelchairs through its own corporate research center. This collaboration is expected to generate synergy between parent company Everybot's AI-powered autonomous driving technology and R&D capabilities.

Everybot Mobility recently received the 'Innovative Growth Type Venture Company Certification' from a professional evaluation agency in recognition of its technological innovation and business growth potential.

Through this MOU, the two companies plan to pursue cooperation including sales of Shanghai Bangbang Robotics' new mobility products in Korea, entry into the global market, diversification of sales products and channels, cost reduction and efficiency improvement, and joint technology development.
