Gwangju mortgage-backed juice brand Orot has completed the growth phase from private investment to Lips to Free Tips.
ColzDynamics builds a virtuous cycle in the technology startup ecosystem through systematic follow-up funding.

Orot (CEO Choi Yeon-hee), a Gwangju-based low-sugar juice subscription brand invested in by local startup accelerator Calls Dynamics (CEO Kang Jong-su), has been selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Pre-TIPS program.
This selection is significant as it represents a successful example of the systematic follow-up funding support model established by CallsDynamics. It marks the completion of a growth phase that begins with private investment, progresses to LIPS selection, and finally to FreeTips. It is particularly recognized as a model for preparing for the transition from an entrepreneurial small business to a technology startup.
Free TIPS is a program operated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. It supports technological advancement and commercialization for promising technology startups preparing to enter the TIPS program. Selected companies will receive up to 100 million won in R&D funding, as well as systematic growth support, including networking and mentoring with TIPS operators.
Since its founding in 2022, Orot has grown rapidly by introducing low-sugar wellness juices that even diabetics can enjoy without worry. Coles Dynamics made a pre-investment in 2024, and based on this investment, Orot was selected for the Lips program in September 2025, followed by Free Tips.
Orot's core competitive edge lies in its 100% hand-squeezed juice method, which relies on local produce, and its subscription-based business model. The company offers five daily juices, including "Popeye Juice," a blend of spinach, Naju pears, apples, and ginger sourced from young farmers in Naju, South Jeolla Province, without additives. This approach embodies the value of local production and local consumption.
Choi Yeon-hee, CEO of Orot, said, “Following Lips, being selected for Freetips has laid the foundation for us to grow from an entrepreneurial small business to a technology startup company,” and added, “As a low-sugar juice brand leading the healthy pleasure trend, we will further advance our technological capabilities through Freetips.”
This selection of Orot's Free Tips is attracting attention as a successful example of the systematic follow-up funding support model established by Calls Dynamics.
Since being selected as the operator of Lips in 2025, Coles Dynamics has selected four companies, including Nosh Project, Oroti, Checkpoint Bread, and Yeotchon Brewery, for Lips. Of these, Oroti has also been selected for Freetips, completing a virtuous cycle of growth ecosystem that leads from private investment to technology startup support programs.
Kang Jong-soo, CEO of Coles Dynamics, said, “Orot’s selection as a Free Tips company is a successful example of a private investment company going beyond simply providing funds and building a systematic follow-up funding ecosystem that leads from Lips to Free Tips to Tips according to the company’s growth stage.” He added, “We will continue to support Orot so that it can grow into a leading player in the healthy pleasure trend in the alternative beverage market and so that it can lead to being selected as a Tips company in the future.”
