Romin Wins Best Innovation Award at 2025 NH Open Business Day

Document AI company Romin announced on the 19th that it won the Grand Innovation Award at the "2025 NH Open Business Day," hosted by Nonghyup Bank. The event, which showcases and presents best practices among collaboration and verification projects promoted through the NH Open Business Hub program, featured Romin presenting and awarding a representative case based on its document AI verification project.

By applying its vision language model-based document AI platform, TextScope Supernova, Romin has improved recognition performance compared to existing AI OCR and demonstrated a method for extracting document data using only prompt-based settings and small data training. During the demonstration, Supernova was compared to existing solutions under identical conditions on non-standard financial forms such as operating instructions and local income tax special collection payment forms. The results showed a reduction in recognition error rates by approximately 58% and a 21% increase in document processing speed.

Building on this achievement, both parties are exploring expansion into other financial document areas, including credit documents, audit and risk management documents, and application to affiliates such as NH Nonghyup Life Insurance, NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance, and NH Nonghyup Asset Management. Romin plans to add a document classification model and various management features to Supernova, expand the service model to a cloud-based SaaS, and rebrand the service as "Zixy," with an official launch planned for the first quarter of 2026.

Kang Ji-hong, CEO of Romin, emphasized, “Through the demonstration with NH Nonghyup Bank, we have proven our performance in the financial document field with numbers,” and added, “We will grow Jiksi into a standard platform for document work innovation in various industries beyond finance, including manufacturing and the public sector.”
