POSCO , a company specializing in electronic documents and electronic contracts, won the Presidential Award at the 20th Korea Internet Awards hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The awards ceremony, held on the 14th at Spigen Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, was held by the Ministry of Science and ICT. The award was presented to companies that contributed to enhancing national competitiveness through the development of the internet industry and digital innovation. POSCO received high praise for its innovative introduction of AI agents in the electronic document and electronic contract fields, leveraging its proven technological prowess.
Cloud-based electronic contract service 'Eformsign' was exclusively selected in the electronic document and electronic contract field for the national project to support the development of ultra-large AI-based cloud services hosted by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency this year, and commercialized the AI secretary function based on Naver Clova X.
POSCO holds domestic and US patents for core AI technologies, including chatbot-based electronic document creation and interactive electronic documents, securing technological competitiveness.
In addition, POSCO is currently in a stable operation phase by supplying electronic document technology to Vietnam's Sacombank, and signed an MOU with a European company at GITEX Global in Dubai last October.
A POSCO official said, “This award is the result of combining 30 years of accumulated electronic document and electronic contract technology with AI innovation,” and added, “We will continue to pursue a true paperless innovation in the future, where AI supports the entire process, including document analysis, writing, and searching.”
