Superpass Wins Prime Minister's Award at the Korea Internet Awards

Medical AI company Supers announced that its solution, InnisVue, which assists in the diagnosis of breast cancer and other cancers, won the Prime Minister's Award at the 20th Korea Internet & Security Agency Awards. This solution, developed through joint research with the Department of Pathology at Seoul Asan Medical Center, was highly praised for its ability to quantify and standardize pathological diagnoses.

Innisview is a digital pathology software that uses AI to precisely analyze morphological data from pathology slides and provide quantified pathological indicators. It has received Ministry of Food and Drug Safety certification and shortens the morphometric measurement process from hours to minutes, achieving accuracy comparable to that of a pathologist.

Based on this technology, Superpass was selected as a leading project for the National IT Industry Promotion Agency's "XaaS" project this year, establishing a cloud-based demonstration model (DaaS) for digital pathology services. This platform integrates the entire pathology diagnostic process, from slide scanning to AI analysis and remote collaborative care, and is designed to enable collaborative care environments even in countries lacking equipment or specialized personnel.

Kim Yong-hwan, CEO of Superpath, emphasized that digital pathology technology enables specialized diagnosis even in areas with poor medical infrastructure. He explained that this achievement was based on clinical collaboration with Seoul Asan Medical Center, support from the National Institute of Pathology (NIPA), and the development of the Seoul Bio Hub. He also announced plans to expand the DaaS-based digital pathology ecosystem into the global market and increase the clinical contribution of Korean medical AI.
