Everybot affiliate Hicore signs MOU with Hulim Robot and HTN.

Hicore, an affiliate of AI service robot company Everybot, announced on the 17th that it signed a business agreement with Hulim Robot and HT&C for joint research, development, and commercialization of autonomous wheelchairs. Through this agreement, the three organizations plan to pursue various joint projects, including the development of autonomous wheelchairs based on advanced convergence technologies, product commercialization, domestic and international exhibition and promotional cooperation, and the exchange of technical resources, personnel, and materials.

Since its founding in 2012, Hicore has built technological competitiveness based on proprietary intellectual property rights in three areas: synthetic motor control technology, electric and electronic actuator design and manufacturing, and AI-powered autonomous driving. Building on this expertise, the company is developing an autonomous electric wheelchair equipped with collision-avoidance ultrasonic sensors. The company is securing its competitive edge through its lightweight design, folding capabilities, in-place rotation, and AI-powered autonomous driving capabilities.

Meanwhile, Everybot has been expanding its personal mobility business since last year, centered around its affiliate Hicore and subsidiary Everybot Mobility. Hicore has been achieving success in the AI mobility sector, including through collaborations with Hyundai Engineering & Construction and Hyundai Motor Company, and this is expected to lead to synergy with Everybot's AI autonomous driving technology and R&D capabilities.
