Laundrygo Launches "Green Friday" Campaign: Up to 10,000 Won in Rebates on Padding Laundry Fees

Food, Clothing and House Company (CEO Seong-Woo Cho), which operates the non-face-to-face mobile laundry service 'Laundrygo', announced on the 14th that it will be launching the 'Green Friday' campaign focused on sustainability and holding a padding laundry fee payback event.

This campaign, with the slogan "Not just new clothes, but like new clothes," was created to spread a sustainable consumption culture that allows people to wear existing padding for a long time through professional care instead of purchasing new padding every Black Friday season.

Rundrigo's padding laundry service features a number of features, including: Separate washing of accessories like fur trimming, hoods, and belts; Pre-treatment of the outer fabric to prevent foreign matter from entering the interior; and a brushing process to prevent clumping of the filling during drying, minimizing padding damage. Leveraging this specialized care expertise, Rundrigo handled the laundry of approximately 280,000 padding pieces last year.

Until November 30th, Rundrigo is offering a promotion where all customers who use its padding laundry service will receive a refund of up to 10,000 points per pickup request. During the event period, customers who drop off laundry, including padding, will earn 3,000 points for one item, 6,000 points for two items, and up to 10,000 points for three or more items.

Kim Ye-seul, Laundrygo's gross marketing manager, said, "This promotion was created to encourage a consumption culture that considers the environment and sustainability instead of excessive consumption on Black Friday." She added, "We will continue to improve our laundry services for each garment so that customers can wear their clothes longer and with more value."

Meanwhile, Laundrygo, based on laundry data from approximately 4 million shirts last year, identified customer preferred brands and designs. This data led to the launch of eco-friendly shirts, eliminating unnecessary packaging boxes and plastic. Furthermore, the company is implementing an environmentally conscious customer experience across its entire service offering, utilizing eco-certified GoGreen plastic and reusable hangers, and replacing paper barcodes with electronic tags (RFID).
