Weca Corporation (CEO Jo Mi-young), which operates the foreigner settlement support platform 'Webring', announced on the 5th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Elite Korea (CEO Nam Kyung-hyun) to attract foreign students and support employment.
This agreement aims to establish an integrated global talent development system that supports international students throughout their entire journey, from admission to employment and settlement, and promotes the creation of a sustainable international student settlement ecosystem that links universities, local governments, and industries.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to carry out various projects, including attracting international students and supporting admissions administration, operating employment, entrepreneurship, and internship programs, developing educational and cultural exchange programs to foster global talent, and conducting joint research and information exchange.
Elite Korea will utilize its network of domestic universities and corporations to support international students' employment and entrepreneurship, provide internships, and collaborate with employment support centers and international exchange offices. WIKA Corporation will be responsible for international student recruitment and admission, visa, financial, and administrative support, global public relations and digital marketing, and building a cooperative network with overseas governments and embassies.
“This agreement is significant in establishing a model for supporting global talents who plan their study abroad life and career in Korea together,” said Jo Mi-young, CEO of WIKA Corporation. “The combination of the WIBRING platform and Elite Korea’s industrial network will be a turning point in expanding the regional-centered international student settlement ecosystem.”
