
Babaground Co., Ltd. (CEO Heo Jeong), which operates the agritourism OTA ' How to Play ', was selected as one of four excellent companies at the 2025 Incheon Tourism Startup IR Day.
Babaground won the Grand Prize at a briefing held in Songdo on October 28th. Its leadership in a digital transformation model that connects rural resources with the tourism industry, demonstrating a new paradigm for rural tourism, earned it recognition. Furthermore, the company was recognized for its consistent product planning, stable business operations, and collaborative capabilities with local governments, resulting in diverse outcomes, including revitalizing the local economy, increasing tourism revenue, attracting residents, and attracting foreign tourists.
With the final selection, Babaground secured a prize of 9 million won and networking opportunities with investors, laying the foundation for attracting follow-up investment. Babaground plans to capitalize on this award by promoting Korean local experience products in the global market next year and strengthening the competitiveness of its Korean rural tourism model in the approximately 12 trillion won agritourism market.
