Haejum (CEO Kwon Oh-hyun) announced on the 13th that it held a free online seminar on 'Implementation of Output Control Performance Settlement Fee' for solar power generation operators in the Honam region on November 12th.
This seminar was held live on the official Haejum YouTube channel to share the core strategies of the renewable energy-based semi-central power generation system, which is scheduled to be piloted in the Honam region in March next year.
Beyond a simple explanation of the system, the seminar focused on practical response strategies for converting existing losses into settlement funds in situations where output control increases by more than tenfold. Participation from key target groups, including operators of large-scale power plants and operators with multiple power plants, was notable.
The live Q&A session continued with specific questions about contracts and revenue, and inquiries for one-on-one personalized consultations continued even after the seminar ended.
Baek Jin-geun, head of the VPP business division at Haejum, explained, “The government introduced a quasi-central system on a trial basis to resolve the inevitable power control situation in the Honam region.” He added, “In order to receive the settlement payment, it is key to comply with the emergency power order within one minute, and Haejum possesses the technology to pass all four emergency power order tests in the Jeju pilot project.”
At the seminar, Haejum presented a one-stop support plan that provides everything from resource registration, performance testing, real-time control, and settlement agency without any initial investment.
CEO Kwon Oh-hyun stated, “Based on our proven control technology in Jeju, we will become a practical partner to help businesses secure stable settlement amounts without complicated procedures.”
