Beyond Honeycomb Signs Strategic MOU with the North American Korean Food Globalization Association

Beyond Honeycomb (CEO Jeong Hyeon-gi), an AI cooking robot company, announced on the 12th that it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korean Cuisine Globalization Association of North America (KCGANA, CEO Moon Jun-ho) for the globalization of Korean cuisine in North America.

Through this agreement, both parties shared the goal of promoting K-BBQ culture and enhancing the competitiveness of Korean restaurants. They plan to pursue various collaborative programs in the future, including joint demonstrations, promotions, and research activities.

The North American Korean Food Globalization Association, representing Korean restaurants across the United States and Canada, is leading the localization and globalization of Korean food. Prior to the agreement, 21 association members visited Beyond Honeycomb to witness a demonstration of the AI cooking robot "GRILL X," which received high praise for its cooking precision and consistency of taste. Both parties explained that this has further heightened interest in the potential for innovation in the North American Korean food industry.

Beyond Honeycomb CEO Jeong Hyeon-gi said, “This agreement is a turning point for us to fully introduce our AI cooking robot technology, which has been verified in Korea, to the North American market,” and added, “Through close cooperation with the association, we will increase the productivity and quality of Korean restaurants in North America and strengthen the competitiveness of global K-BBQ.”

Moon Jun-ho, CEO of the North American Korean Food Globalization Association, said, “Beyond Honeycomb’s AI cooking technology will be a key solution to solving the labor shortage and quality control issues facing the North American Korean food industry.” He added, “We hope that this collaboration will contribute to the stable growth of our member companies and the globalization of Korean food.”
