
Hansae Yes24 Holdings (CEO Dong-nyeong Kim and Seok-hwan Kim) announced on the 12th that it was selected as an excellent cultural arts sponsorship organization in the '2025 Cultural Arts Sponsorship Certification System' hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Arts Council Korea.
The "Culture and Arts Sponsorship Certification System" recognizes and recognizes organizations and companies that have contributed to the development of culture and arts and improved the quality of cultural life for the public. Operated annually since 2014, the system recognizes outstanding organizations. This year, a total of eight companies, including Hansae Yes24 Holdings, were selected as outstanding organizations.
Hansae Yes24 Holdings continues to support the group's cultural and artistic initiatives through the Hansae Yes24 Cultural Foundation, established in 2014 with personal funds from Chairman Kim Dong-nyeong. For over a decade, the foundation has been active in various fields, including fine arts and literature, to foster cultural exchange between Korea and Southeast Asia.
The foundation has promoted various cultural exchange projects, including hosting the "International Cultural Exchange Exhibition," introducing artwork from various Asian countries to Korea, and publishing the "Southeast Asian Literature Series," introducing modern and contemporary literature from Southeast Asia to Korean readers. To date, the foundation has introduced art and literature from Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Thailand to Korea, providing opportunities to experience cultural diversity.
Furthermore, the foundation supports academic exchange and the formation of talent networks through scholarships and humanities research support programs. Since 2019, it has sponsored an international academic conference co-hosted by Ewha Womans University and Yale University, and since 2022, it has provided annual research grants of 120 million won for underrepresented humanities fields such as art history, philosophy, and literature. In 2024, the foundation expanded its support to music, hosting a collaborative performance by world-class baritone Benjamin Aple and pianist Simon Lepper.
Kim Seok-hwan, Vice Chairman of Hansae Yes24 Holdings, said, “Hansae Yes24 Group actively supports the development of culture and arts and is fulfilling its social responsibility,” and “We will continue to support culture and arts at the group level in the future.”
