The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Won-kyung Kim, hereinafter referred to as the Gyeonggi Innovation Center) announced that it participated in the '10th Bitgaram International Electric Power Technology Expo (BIXPO 2025)' held at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju from November 5 to 7, operated the Gyeonggi-do Regional Specialized Industry Pavilion, and presented cases of industrial transformation based on climate technology.
This year's event was attended by the Prime Minister, government ministries, the National Assembly, international organizations, and global energy and manufacturing companies, with power and energy transition technologies and new industry models as key topics of discussion.
At this exhibition, the Gyeonggi Innovation Center introduced the "Gyeonggi Province Climate Tech Startup Incubation Project" and unveiled the technologies, prototypes, and verification results of four participating companies. The participating companies are NineWatt (3D map-based building energy analysis platform "WATTI"), Enerrich (porous functional materials for hydrogen production through water electrolysis), Mocuratec (reusable battery performance restorer "Li-Juvenator"), and I-ESG (ESG-specific carbon management solution).
These companies have garnered significant attention from domestic and international energy, materials, and manufacturing companies by presenting technologies that can be utilized to improve industrial processes, including energy efficiency, resource recycling, advanced hydrogen production, and carbon emissions management.
An official from the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, “Through BIXPO 2025, Gyeonggi-do climate tech companies were able to have their technological prowess recognized on the global stage and expand opportunities for cooperation,” and added, “We will continue to work to create an ecosystem that goes beyond technological development and can be utilized in actual industrial sites so that Gyeonggi-do can establish itself as the center of Korea’s climate tech industry.”
