
Automotive parts specialist Hwashin (CEO Seojin Jeong) received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award at the '2025 Korea Sharing Citizens Awards' ceremony held at the KBS New Building in Seoul on November 6.
This award was given upon the recommendation of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Jeon Woo-heon, hereinafter referred to as the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea), and is a recognition of Hwashin’s long-term contributions to spreading a culture of sharing in the local community.
Hwashin Co., Ltd. has consistently donated approximately KRW 1.27 billion over the past 20 years, primarily in the Gyeongbuk region. In 2024, it joined the "Prestigious Sharing Company" program (Gyeongbuk's 19th and Yeongcheon's 1st), and is engaged in various social contribution activities, including supporting vulnerable groups, low-income families, and families in crisis, as well as employee fundraising and year-end assistance to the underprivileged.
The "Korea Sharing Citizens' Award," co-hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Community Chest of Korea, and KBS, recognizes individuals, organizations, and companies that have contributed to improving community welfare and spreading a culture of sharing. Through this award, Hwashin Co., Ltd. receives official recognition for its ongoing social welfare activities, including support for vulnerable groups and families in crisis in the Gyeongbuk region, the Happiness Sharing Support Project in Yeongcheon City, and support for victims of natural disasters.
