Mobility and robot drive component company NV Motion (CEO Moon Doo-seong) has secured an overseas order for a full range of motion components for reducers and drive modules, which are key components for industrial and humanoid robots.
Enviromotion recently received an order for precision pre-loaded parts from a Japanese global robotics RV reducer specialist and is currently supplying the initial development volume. Enviromotion also announced that it has secured an order from a German bearing module OEM, entering the global robotics reducer value chain.
Enviromotion is currently developing a cylindrical roller that simultaneously improves load-bearing capacity and frictional characteristics, and plans to establish a mass production system by 2026.
CEO Moon Doo-seong said, “This order marks the first time a Korean company has entered the global robot reducer value chain,” and added, “If we succeed in developing the cylindrical roller, we will become the first domestic company to produce high-precision products with competitiveness in the Asian market.”
President Moon also emphasized, "We will localize bearings and rollers for robots to resolve bottlenecks in the Japanese-centric supply chain and establish a Korean-style precision drive material ecosystem."
