
Robotics specialist Now Robotics (CEO Jong-ju Lee) was selected as a robotics group for the ‘Incheon Science and Technology Fellows’ at the Incheon Science and Technology Innovation Network Launch Ceremony (i-Connect).
This launching ceremony was co-hosted by Incheon City and the Incheon Regional Chapter of the Federation of Korean Science and Technology Societies, organized by Incheon Technopark and the Incheon Science and Culture Hub Center, and was attended by approximately 100 scientists and engineers from universities, research institutes, and industry. At the event, 14 innovative organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and the "Incheon Science and Technology Fellows" with 16 participating research groups was officially launched.
Nowrobotics, led by Vice President Seo Chung-seok, will participate in robotics-related policy proposals, research planning, technology exchange workshops, and collaborative project planning between industry, academia, and research institutions. Through this network, Incheon City plans to pursue practical collaborative projects, including joint research and policy proposals, and institutionalize the "Incheon Science and Technology Network Activation Project" starting in 2026.
Now Robotics provides a variety of robotic solutions in the fields of industrial automation and autonomous logistics robots. Since its KOSDAQ listing, the company has been advancing its production infrastructure and developing new products. CEO Lee Jong-joo stated, "I feel a sense of responsibility to have been selected as a leading expert group in Incheon's science and technology sectors. I will contribute to the advancement of local robotics technology."
