Seoul National University Campus Town Recruiting New Companies for the First Phase of 2026

Seoul National University Campus Town is recruiting new startups for its first round of 2026. Applicants must be 39 years of age or younger (no age limit for faculty-led startups) with creative and innovative ideas and have been in business for less than seven years as of the announcement date (up to 10 years for new industry startups). In particular, AI-based companies whose representatives are professors, students, or alumni of Seoul National University will be given preferential treatment, and points will be awarded based on performance such as investment attraction/sales.

Selected companies will be housed in 'Startup HERE-RO' 2-6 hubs located in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, and will receive various benefits, including ▲free provision of startup space (HERE-RO6 usage fee and management fee apply), ▲investment attraction support, ▲R&D/commercialization support, ▲PR/marketing support, ▲global expansion support, ▲mentoring/consulting and networking support, and ▲AI education program support.

The Seoul National University Campus Town Project Team was selected for the 2025 Seoul Campus Town Project in the 2026 competition. The Seoul National University Campus Town Project will be implemented in conjunction with RISE (Regional Innovation Hub and University Support System) starting in 2026. This selection will strengthen Seoul National University's role as an innovative startup hub supporting cutting-edge technology-based youth entrepreneurship and global market entry.

Kang Geon-wook, head of the 2025 Seoul National University Campus Town Project Group, said, “Seoul National University Campus Town will make greater efforts to become a central institution for the stable growth of startups and the development of the startup ecosystem and local community in Gwanak S Valley.” He added, “We hope for a lot of interest and support from innovative and capable startups that are making a leap forward in the AI and deep tech industries and global innovative technologies.”
