Seoul Robotics Signs Business Agreement with Ulsan Complex City Development Corporation

Seoul Robotics (CEO Lee Han-bin), an AI-based logistics autonomous driving solution company, announced on the 31st that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Ulsan Complex City Development Corporation to build autonomous driving infrastructure in Ulsan's 'New On City'.

This agreement aims to develop Newon City into a future-oriented autonomous driving city by applying AI-based smart mobility technology throughout the city.

The signing ceremony was held at the Seoul Robotics R&D Center in Pangyo, Gyeonggi-do, and was attended by key executives and employees, including Eun-soo Cho, CEO of Ulsan Complex City Development, and Han-bin Lee, CEO of Seoul Robotics.

Hanwha Solutions, a major investor in the Ulsan Complex City Development Project, is considering providing support in the form of administrative cooperation, including future permits and technical reviews.

Seoul Robotics plans to build a smart mobility infrastructure centered around its "Level 5 Control Tower (LV5 CTRL TWR)," a core autonomous driving control technology, to efficiently manage logistics and traffic flow on urban roads and industrial facilities. LiDAR-based sensors will be installed on major roads within New On City, enabling AI-powered real-time vehicle flow control. Self-driving shuttles will be introduced to public transportation sections to enable precise stopping, passenger detection, and optimal route operation.

Additionally, by incorporating proven technologies from global partners, such as smart traffic lights and digital twin-based city control systems, we plan to build an integrated smart infrastructure that connects the entire city into a single, organic network.

CEO Lee Han-bin said, “New On City will be the first model to integrate autonomous driving infrastructure from the urban design stage,” and added, “By combining Seoul Robotics’ core technology and global network, we will create a K-Smart City that will attract the world’s attention.”
