
Lameditech Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Jong-seok), a laser-based bio-healthcare specialized company, announced on the 30th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Korea Hairdressers Association (Chairman Lee Seon-sim) to develop the hair loss and scalp care industry based on AI and laser fusion technology.
This agreement aims to jointly pursue research and development, industrialization, talent development, and market expansion of next-generation scalp and hair loss management solutions that combine AI and laser technology. The two organizations will collaborate on various initiatives, including: joint development of products utilizing AI and laser convergence; joint hosting of training, seminars, and promotional events to promote the industry; joint technology development and commercialization; and joint participation in government and private R&D projects.
Leveraging its expertise in medical and beauty devices, Lameditech is developing a personalized scalp care solution that combines AI diagnostics and laser precision control technology. The 2940nm wavelength Er:YAG laser used in its flagship product, "Puraxel," stimulates the skin and scalp layers, stimulating cell regeneration and blood flow around hair follicles.
A representative from Lameditech stated, “We will provide personalized scalp care solutions through AI and laser fusion technology and lead the innovative growth of the K-beauty industry,” adding, “We plan to use this agreement as an opportunity to accelerate the expansion of the technology ecosystem in the hair loss and scalp care fields.”
