SGA Solutions Acquires Endpoint Security Subsidiary SGA EPS

SGA Solutions (CEO Choi Young-cheol) , a leading integrated IT security company, announced on the 27th that it will merge with its endpoint security subsidiary, SGA EPS (CEO Kang Hyun-mo). The merger will be conducted as a small, no-capitalization merger, with a closing date of January 1, 2026. SGA Solutions explained that the subsidiary integration will be possible without issuing new shares, eliminating capital dilution.

SGA EPS is an endpoint security specialist with products such as the AI-based antivirus solution "VirusChaser 10™ AI," the PC security diagnostic solution "VirusChaser My PC Guardian," and the patch management solution "PatchChaser." With this merger, SGA Solutions will secure a comprehensive security portfolio that includes UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) technology and AI-based security solutions.

Through this merger, SGA Solutions plans to strengthen its comprehensive lineup of solutions required to build a zero-trust architecture-based security environment, encompassing servers, endpoints, the cloud, and system access control. The company expects this merger, which follows the acquisition of its system access control subsidiary SGN in July, will contribute to its dominance in the domestic zero-trust market and its leadership in the security ecosystem.

Choi Young-cheol, CEO of SGA Solutions, stated, "Through this merger, we will secure a comprehensive security portfolio and leap forward as a company leading the evolving security paradigm." Founded in 2002, SGA Solutions offers server security solutions such as "RedCastle," cloud security solutions like "Aegis," and the full-stack zero-trust solution "SGA ZTA." Having participated in the Zero Trust Project, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency for three consecutive years, the company boasts next-generation security expertise.
