Bluewing Motors Signs Business Agreement with Evetech and ELT

Eco-friendly mobility specialist Bluewing Motors (CEO Kim Min-ho) announced on the 27th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with battery specialist Evetech (CEO Son Gyu-seon) and charging infrastructure specialist ELT (CEO Yang Hee-won) to advance the two-wheeled vehicle electrification business. The three companies plan to gradually expand the business domestically and internationally starting in November.

Under the agreement, Bluewing Motors will be responsible for overall project planning, government and partner company collaboration, and operational management. Evetech will develop and supply electrification kits and battery systems, while ELT will design battery exchange systems and build solar-powered charging infrastructure.

Bluewing Motors is currently conducting a feasibility study for the Ministry of Environment on the electrification of two-wheeled vehicles. This process involves developing electrification technology and verifying safety, and based on this, the company is preparing a domestic electrification pilot project. The company also has experience in two-wheeled vehicle electrification projects in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia and Vietnam.

Bluewing Motors is particularly focused on the Vietnamese market. The Vietnamese government has decided to completely ban the operation of internal combustion engine motorcycles within Hanoi's downtown area (Ring Road No. 1) starting July 1, 2026. This policy was confirmed when Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Directive No. 20, which outlines urgent measures to prevent environmental pollution. The restricted areas will be gradually expanded in the future.

Bluewing Motors' core strategy is its "K-Conversion" technology. This technology electrifies existing internal combustion engine motorcycles, reducing the burden of new vehicle purchases and enabling resource recycling. The company plans to apply its Korean-style electrification technology, verified through a Ministry of Environment project, to the Vietnamese market and pursue projects aligned with local policies.

A Bluewing Motors official said, “Based on the K-Conversion technology verified through the Ministry of Environment’s service, we will successfully carry out a domestic pilot project and take the lead in the overseas market in line with Vietnam’s motorcycle regulation policy.”

An Evetech representative stated, "We will contribute to securing business stability and competitiveness by leveraging our technology to proactively prevent fire risks through battery cooling systems." An ELT representative added, "We will build a charging infrastructure based on renewable energy to realize sustainable, eco-friendly electrification."
