Power Cube Semi to Participate in SEDEX 2025

Power Cube Semi announced that it participated in 'SEDEX 2025 (Semiconductor Exhibition)' held at COEX in Seoul from the 22nd to the 24th.

Hosted by the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association, SEDEX 2025 is Korea's largest semiconductor trade fair. Major companies and organizations across the semiconductor industry, including system semiconductors, equipment and components, materials, facilities, and sensors, participated. Around 280 domestic and international companies, including Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, Xiaomi, and Huawei, operated approximately 700 booths, sharing the latest technologies and industry trends.

Powercube Semi's exhibit focused on its sensor and power component product line at this event. Its gallium oxide (Ga₂O₃)-based arc detection sensor garnered particular attention. This product's key feature is its ability to detect arcing events that can occur in distribution panels and data centers early, preventing accidents like fires.

The arc detection sensor utilizes a gallium oxide-based photodiode structure, maintaining stable detection performance even in extreme environments such as high temperatures and high voltages. Furthermore, its 5V low-power design minimizes energy consumption, and its structural efficiency also reduces manufacturing costs. This technology is applicable to fields requiring high reliability, such as industrial equipment, electric vehicles, national defense, and aerospace.

Power Cube Semiconductor CEO Taeyoung Kang said, “Through this SEDEX participation, we were able to showcase our sensor and power semiconductor technologies and confirm the potential for collaboration with various industrial fields. We will continue to expand our presence in the global market through continuous research and development.”
