Le Mon has won a contract to build a generative AI-based system for Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO).

Le Mong (Co-CEOs Bo-hyung Kim and Hee-yong Lee), an AI framework-based solution company, announced on the 21st that it had won a contract to build an in-house standard system based on generative artificial intelligence (AI) from Korea Electric Power Corporation.

This project win follows LeMon's previous wins of AI projects from the Korea Rural Community Corporation for two consecutive years, and is noteworthy as a case in which a B2C-focused service company has achieved continuous success in the enterprise AI market targeting public institutions.

LeMont is securing its competitive edge based on its proprietary AI framework, "Luminir AI." This technology consists of four core technologies: customized large-scale language model (LLM) development, multi-agent architecture, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and unstructured data processing.

In particular, this KEPCO project utilized patented RAG-based technology to implement a generative AI search system based on extensive internal documents. This technology received recognition for its technical prowess through paper acceptance at the International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM), and a related patent has been filed.

Le Mong provides services to approximately 13,000 restaurant operators through its B2C-based AI review and comment management service, ‘Comment Mong’, and is also supplying ‘Comment Mong Biz’ to the headquarters of major franchises such as Lotte GRS, Goobne Chicken, and Pizza Hut.

The data collected from delivery and map platforms is analyzed, and the data accumulated through the multi-agent system automatically generates the optimal response for each situation is being utilized in public and enterprise projects.

In addition, Le Mong recently signed a strategic partnership with FoodTech's 'MATE AI POS' and completed a pre-verification (PoC) with NICE Information Service, thereby promoting the expansion of AI applications into the restaurant and financial sectors.

Le Mon’s co-CEOs Kim Bo-hyung and Lee Hee-yong said, “Le Mon aims to provide advanced AI technology in a practical way to a wide range of users, from small business owners to large corporations and public institutions,” and added, “We will actively expand the recruitment of AI developers, data scientists, and MLOps engineers to strengthen our R&D capabilities.”
