Dewix Selected as a "2025 First Penguin Startup"

Dewix (CEO Junhyung Ahn), a company providing generative AI-based business automation solutions, announced on the 21st that it was selected as a '2025 First Penguin Startup' under the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund's startup scale-up support program.

The First Penguin Program is a flagship program of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund that discovers startups with creative ideas and innovative technologies and provides them with guarantees of up to 4 billion won and various growth support.

Founded in 2022, Dewix is promoting the popularization of generative AI through its self-developed AI solutions, including the no-code-based AI workflow builder 'WEA Flow', the domain-tailored large-scale language model (LLM) operation solution 'WEAOps', and the multi-agent-based Agentic AI platform 'WEA'.

Based on this selection, Dewix plans to launch an expansion strategy encompassing both the private and public sectors, including technological advancement, entry into the public procurement market, policy demand alignment, and attracting global investment.

Indeed, Dewix recently secured pre-Series A funding from New Paradigm Investment and achieved KRW 3.4 billion in revenue in 2024, just two years after its founding. It aims to achieve KRW 6 billion in revenue in 2025 and KRW 14.2 billion in 2026. The company is pursuing a dual business model that combines on-premises deployment with SaaS/cloud solutions, as well as a strategy to expand subscription revenue through the global cloud marketplace.

In terms of technological reliability, Dewix has registered five AI-related patents over the past two years, and its "WEA Flow" has received GS Level 1 certification. Key patented technologies include memory curve-based context maintenance, knowledge graph-based question-and-answer generation, and a method for generating consistent answers through distributed data structuring, all of which contribute to improving the accuracy and consistency of generative AI.

“This selection has recognized our technological prowess, business viability, and market expansion potential,” said Ahn Jun-hyung, CEO of Dewix. “As AI becomes a core infrastructure for all organizations, Dewix’s solutions will lead the field-centered AI transition.”

CEO Ahn also stated, “In the short term, we will secure stable profits based on public projects, and in the mid to long term, we will expand specialized SaaS for each industry such as healthcare and education, enter the Southeast Asian market, and build an ‘AI marketplace’ for trading AI agents to become a global AI platform company.”
