Connective (CEO Noh Du-hyeon), a medical artificial intelligence (AI) solution company, announced on the 21st that it was selected as one of 20 candidates for Korea's next-generation unicorn companies for 'KOREA Promising AI Startups 2025' (hereinafter referred to as KPAS 2025), co-hosted by the Korea Economic Daily and KT.
KPAS 2025, now in its fifth year, is a program that identifies and intensively fosters startups driving innovation across all industries through AI technology. Selected companies will receive support from KT, including access to its cloud and GPU infrastructure, commercialization consulting, and global network connections. The Korea Economic Daily will also provide media outreach and market expansion programs.
At the awards ceremony held in Seoul on the 16th, Minister of Science and ICT Bae Kyung-hoon, KT CEO Kim Young-seop, and Korea Economic Daily President Kim Jeong-ho, as well as representatives from the political, business, and global tech companies, attended to encourage the award-winning companies.
Connective is developing a full-cycle digital solution for orthopedics, combining AI-based imaging diagnostic software with robotic joint replacement surgery technology. Key products include: musculoskeletal X-ray diagnostic software; an AI surgical robotic platform featuring real-time 3D scanning and automatic alignment; and a cloud-based health data SaaS that supports patient-tailored analytics.
This technology is contributing to tangible medical outcomes, including improved diagnostic accuracy, enhanced surgical efficiency, and shortened patient recovery periods. In Korea, the company is supplying hospitals with products like "HERO KNEE" and "CONNEVO Metric," which have completed Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) review. Currently, the company is preparing to enter the overseas market through CE, FDA, and PMDA certifications.
Noh Du-hyeon, CEO of Connective, said, “With our selection as KPAS 2025, we will present a global innovation model in the orthopedic field that combines medical AI and robotics,” and “We will grow into a medical tech company with both technological competitiveness and business viability in the digital healthcare field in the future.”
