POSCO (CEO Jongmin Cho), a company specializing in electronic documents and electronic contracts, announced on the 20th that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with European ICT company Algotech at the Middle East ICT exhibition 'GITEX GLOBAL 2025'.
POSCO participated in this exhibition as a company participating in the Korean Pavilion operated by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), and was selected as a national representative company in recognition of its technological prowess and marketability in the fields of electronic documents and electronic contracts.
At this exhibition, POSCO presented its AI electronic contract service, "eformsign," which is equipped with Naver's massive AI model, "CLOVA X." This solution features AI that automatically recognizes input and signature areas within documents and intelligently sets permissions for each author. It was developed as part of the National IT Industry Promotion Agency's "2025 Massive AI-Based Cloud Service Development" project, and attracted the attention of participants from the Middle East and Europe.
Algotech, the partner of the MOU signed by POSCO, is a Serbian-based digital customer experience (CX) platform specialist with a strong presence in Europe, spanning cloud, call centers, CRM, and ERP. Through this agreement, the two companies will strengthen their strategic partnership, aiming to jointly expand into the Middle Eastern and European markets and establish a long-term collaborative system.
This collaboration is expected to contribute to expanding POSCO's electronic document solutions' presence in the European market. POSCO has experience providing electronic document systems to over 70% of domestic financial institutions. Recently, it has proven its technological reliability through stabilizing the digital window system of Vietnam's Sacombank and completing electronic document projects for major financial institutions, including the Korea Development Bank.
A POSCO Global Sales representative said, “Through our participation in GITEX GLOBAL 2025, we have verified our technological prowess and market potential on the global stage as a company representing the domestic electronic document industry,” and “Based on our cooperation with Algotech, we plan to expand our presence in the European market and seek joint growth in the global business area.”
