Woowa Brothers Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Beom-seok) , which operates the delivery app 'Baedal Minjok', announced on the 20th that it has signed a business agreement with social venture Nanum Vitamin Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Ha-yeon) and will cooperate in expanding the 'Butterfly Store', a network of sharing stores for children in the local community.
"Butterfly Store" is a "Good Store" program based on the mobile meal ticket platform "Butterfly Yam." It refers to registered restaurants that help underprivileged children eat with dignity. Any restaurant that accepts mobile meal tickets can participate, and some participating stores voluntarily provide discount and sharing coupons for children.
Under this agreement, starting in late October, Nabi Store will be featured on the "Neighborhood Donation Stores" service within the Baedal Minjok app. Stores offering sharing coupons will be given priority exposure, allowing consumers to easily identify and utilize local stores that practice donation and sharing.
'Our Neighborhood Donation Store' is a social contribution service of Baedal Minjok that introduces restaurants that donate a portion of their sales to NGOs. It aims to increase the visibility and motivation of restaurant owners who participate in sharing practices.
Kim Jung-hyun, head of the Value Management Office at Elegant Brothers, said, “We are continuing various social contribution activities to increase children’s access to meals and spread a culture of togetherness with the local community,” and added, “We hope that more participation will continue through the connection between the Donation Practice Store and the Butterfly Store.”
Nanum Vitamin CEO Kim Ha-yeon said, “Through our collaboration with Baedal Minjok, we have laid the foundation for Butterfly Store to expand nationwide,” and added, “We will create a sustainable structure that can give small business owners who participate in sharing a sense of pride.”
