
Dunamu Co., Ltd. (CEO Oh Kyung-seok), which operates the virtual asset exchange Upbit, announced that it will participate as an official partner in the 'APEC CEO Summit Korea 2025' to be held in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do from October 28 to 31.
This event, an official side event of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit, is hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Under the theme "Bridge, Business, Beyond," the summit is expected to attract approximately 1,700 heads of state from 21 APEC member economies and CEOs of global companies. Key attendees include NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, AWS CEO Matt Garman, Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser, and Johnson & Johnson CEO Joaquin Duato. From Korea, attendees include SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong, Hyundai Motor Chairman Chung Eui-sun, and LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo.
Dunamu plans to represent the Korean blockchain industry and share the potential of digital asset technology and the direction of global financial innovation.
CEO Oh Kyung-seok will be a keynote speaker at the session titled 'The Future of Currency & Global Financial Market' to be held at the Gyeongju Arts Center Gallery Hall on October 29th, where he will discuss Upbit's technological prowess and the future of the global blockchain industry.
On the 30th, the "Future Tech Forum: Digital Asset," hosted by Dunamu, will be held. The forum, themed "A Global Economy Connected by Digital Assets," will address a variety of global issues, including blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), financial regulation, and technology-based inclusive finance.
The keynote address will be delivered by Michael Casey, Senior Advisor to the MIT Media Lab's Digital Currency Initiative and former Chairman of CoinDesk Consensus. The panel discussion will then feature representatives from global organizations and companies, including Tether, the Solana Foundation, the Asian Development Bank, and Mastercard.
During the event, Dunamu will operate an Upbit exhibition booth at the Gyeongju Arts Center outdoor exhibition hall. The booth will showcase Upbit's technological prowess and Web3-based infrastructure strategy, highlighting the future of global finance driven by digital assets.
