Gangwon Innovation Center Concludes '2025 Digital Healthcare AI Seminar'

The Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Hae-Jeong Lee, hereinafter referred to as the Gangwon Innovation Center) announced on the 16th that it held the '2025 Digital Healthcare AI Seminar' in collaboration with Naver Cloud at Naver Square in Yeoksam, Seoul on October 16th.

This event, held as part of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's second phase of the Regional Innovation Cluster (non-R&D) project, was organized under the theme of "The Present and Future of Digital Healthcare AI" to share the direction of convergence and development strategies between the domestic digital healthcare industry and artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

The seminar was attended by approximately 130 people, including representatives from the digital healthcare and AI industries, related organizations, and companies, and a lively discussion took place on the potential application of AI-based healthcare technology to industrial settings and business expansion.

The lecture session started with ‘AI Development and Cloud Service’ by Naver Cloud Director Lee Sang-woo, followed by ‘Medical Image AI Development and Field Application’ by JLK Director Ryu Wi-seon, ‘Medical Signal AI Application’ by Alpi CEO Kim Jung-hee, ‘MLOps Platform Utilization’ by Acryl CEO Park Oe-jin, and ‘LLM-based Medical Service Development’ by Winu CEO Hwang Bo-yul and Helmidoc CEO Park Hyeong-jun.

The panel discussion, moderated by CEO Yuk-Hyeon Main, focused on the topic of "The Present and Future of Digital Healthcare AI," and included in-depth discussions on the limitations of application in the medical field, data utilization, AI ethics, and regulatory response strategies. Participants' Q&A sessions reflected the field's concerns.

An official from the Gangwon Innovation Center said, “It was a meaningful time to discuss the direction of application of AI technology within the digital healthcare industry,” and added, “We will continue to work to support the AI and data-based healthcare industry and build a nationwide innovation ecosystem.”
