Bluepoint Hosts 'Quantum Connect Day'

Bluepoint Partners (hereinafter referred to as Bluepoint) announced on the 16th that it is launching an open initiative called 'Quantum Connect Day', a series of programs to promote the industrial expansion of quantum technology and advance business models.

'Quantum Connect Day' is a quantum business-focused program planned by Bluepoint. Each session focuses on a specific company or technology, sharing real-world industrial application cases and market expansion strategies.

The first event will be held at the Daejeon Expo Tower on October 30th, and will be led by Norma, a company developing quantum cloud services. Norma started out as an IT security company and is expanding into the quantum transition (QX) field. It was selected for the "Quantum Computing QX Scale-Up Valley" project, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, and is receiving support for business scale-up from Bluepoint.

In addition to Norma, domestic and international industry-academia-research organizations such as Qudora, Oxford Instruments, Hanyang University, and Daejeon Technopark will participate in this event and present on topics such as ▲cryogenic infrastructure ▲superconducting quantum computing technology ▲regional industry linkage strategies ▲plans to build an investment ecosystem.

Through this program, Bluepoint plans to establish a practical collaboration model between startups, large corporations, research institutions, and investors, and support the commercialization of quantum technology, revenue generation, and brand expansion.

Choi Soo-im, a senior judge at Bluepoint, said, “The goal of Quantum Connect Day is to go beyond simple technology sharing and create a sustainable industrial cooperation structure centered around quantum startups,” adding, “We plan to continue to seek practical market expansion together with promising quantum companies.”
