Kibo visits Nexgen Power, a Kibo-Star Valley company in Incheon.

The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as “Kibo”) announced that on Wednesday the 15th, it visited Nexgen Power Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Dong-won), which was selected as a Kibo-Star Valley company in the Incheon area, and held an on-site meeting.

This meeting was organized to directly hear the challenges faced by Kibo-Star Valley companies and explore additional collaborative measures to facilitate the scale-up of local innovative companies. The meeting was attended by Kibo's Incheon Regional Headquarters Director, Incheon Branch Manager, Nexgen Power CEO, and other executives. They toured the production process and exchanged opinions.

Established in September 2019, Nexgen Power Co., Ltd. primarily produces power semiconductors used in home appliances and solar power systems. Leveraging its superior technological prowess, the company has expanded into overseas markets and, last year, received the "Ten Million Dollar Export Tower" award from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, solidifying its position as a leading technology company in the Incheon region.

Kibo-Star Valley is Kibo's core scale-up support program that provides ▲preliminary guarantee limit (limit by stage from 3 billion won to 10 billion won) ▲preferential guarantee ratio (95%, for 3 years) ▲guarantee fee reduction (0.5%p, for 3 years) to innovative companies with excellent technological prowess and growth potential, according to the founding period and growth stage.
