Biomoa Medical Co., Ltd. (CEO Dong-Han Lee) announced on the 14th that it won an encouragement award in the global category finals of the 2025 Gyeonggi Startup Contest 'G-Star Audition' hosted by Gyeonggi Province on October 1st.
Biomoa Medical's entry, the 'From the Skin' project, is a slow-aging derma cosmetic product based on a triple formula that simultaneously delivers whitening, wrinkle improvement, and moisturizing effects. The judges recognized its understanding of the functional cosmetics market and its potential for global expansion.
'G-Star Audition' is a startup support program that discovers and fosters startups with technological prowess and growth potential. This year, a total of 777 companies participated, and Biomoa Medical was selected as the winning company in the global category finals.
The company stated that the "From the Skin" project focuses on ingredient formulations and process technologies that consider not only short-term effects in improving skin aging but also mid- to long-term skin health. This approach is believed to reflect the needs of functional cosmetics, which are experiencing growing demand in the global beauty market.
Biomoamedical CEO Lee Dong-han directly participated in the final announcement and said, “Through this award, we have objectively verified the marketability of our brand concept and technology.” He added, “We will further concretize our North American market entry strategy, which we have been preparing since participating in K-Beauty Booster in New York last August, and grow into a derma cosmetic brand with global competitiveness.”
