Fashion tech company Wave Company (Co-CEO Jo Na-yeon) announced on the 13th that it was finally selected for the '2025 Fashion Company Promotion Program (Investment-linked)' hosted by the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency.
This program was designed to support the growth of promising fashion brands and convergence fashion companies and strengthen their links with investment attraction. Targeting Seoul-based fashion SMEs, the project brought together fashion distribution platforms, content and media companies, AI and big data-based fashion tech companies, marketing and branding agencies, and convergence companies in the beauty and wellness sectors.
Wave Company is a fashion tech company focused on sports and wellness, combining functional apparel with material technology. Through its flagship brand, WaveWear, the company has developed proprietary technologies such as AlignX™ silicone taping technology, ElecSil™ conductive silicone electrodes, TracSil™ textile sensors, and TracMe, a customized feedback system. The company offers convergent products and services that connect the fashion, digital health, and wellness industries.
With this program selection, Wave Company will receive comprehensive support for growth, including: strengthening its IR promotion and pitching capabilities for domestic and international investors; developing investment attraction materials; expert mentoring and branding consulting based on market and organizational assessments; and participation in exhibitions and fashion shows to expand into domestic and international markets. Furthermore, Wave Company plans to systematically expand its corporate capabilities through hands-on training and workshops in branding, marketing, operations, and investment.
With this support, Wave Company will integrate the narrative of its core technology portfolio and refine its brand story. Specifically, it will participate in the fashion show program "Runway to Seoul (RTS)," unveiling new product concepts that leverage the intersection of sports performance wear and daily wear, as well as modular designs based on sensors and electrodes.
From an IR perspective, we plan to enhance investor communication by strengthening investment storytelling that reflects not only product technology but also empirical data such as user feedback, data-driven repurchase rates, and reviews.
Co-CEO Jo Na-yeon said, “We are focusing on simultaneously proving the practicality of wearability, performance, and technology, which are important elements in functional fashion,” and “Through this program, we plan to increase brand competitiveness and accelerate global market expansion based on three axes: RTS fashion shows, expert consulting, and investment connections.”
