TOZ (CEO Seo Kwang-hoon), a maritime-tech startup discovered by cross-border accelerator Big Bang Angels, participated as a key technology partner in the 'Vantiq AI Summit 2025' held in Washington, D.C., USA on October 1 (local time).
The Vantique AI Summit is a global technology conference hosted by Vantiq, a Silicon Valley-based real-time event-based AI platform company. Previously held in major countries like Korea, Australia, and Japan, this year's annual event concluded in Washington, D.C. The event, attended by global IT companies and partners, explored how generative AI, edge computing, and real-time automation technologies are being applied to national infrastructure industries such as defense, healthcare, and logistics.
At the event, Toz presented its marine safety solutions and showcased its "S-Link" remote vessel maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO) system, which integrates Vantique's real-time AI technology. This solution analyzes vessel conditions in real time, enabling the company to predict and respond to accidents in advance. The summit also provided an opportunity to discuss technological collaboration and market entry opportunities with global partners.
The event was attended by a number of global companies, including T-Mobile in the US, Huron Consulting Group, NTT DATA from Japan, and FAST DATA CONNECT, an IT company from India. Among them, a representative from FAST DATA CONNECT expressed interest in Toz's technology and mentioned the possibility of collaboration in the Asian market.
TOZ previously participated in the Busan Expo as a maritime digital transformation technology partner with Vantique Korea and Etibus, and plans to fully expand into the North American market with this US event. CEO Seo Gwang-hoon stated, "We are exploring the possibility of entering the US Navy's Naval MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) business through Vantique's defense network."
Meanwhile, this collaboration was promoted as part of Big Bang Angels' global value-up strategy, and as an investment firm, Big Bang Angels is playing a role in supporting the practical growth of its portfolio companies by connecting distribution channels and discovering overseas partnerships.
Big Bang Angels Vice President Kwon Hyuk-chan said, “Our goal is to go beyond simple investment and create a practical ecosystem that will help startups advance into the global stage,” adding, “This collaboration will serve as an opportunity to accelerate the digital transformation of the maritime tech industry.”
