Channel Corporation (CEO Siwon Choi), which operates the all-in-one AI business messenger 'Channel Talk', announced on the 1st that it won the Seoul Metropolitan City Mayor's Award at the '9th Korea Digital Future Innovation Awards'.
Hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Artificial Intelligence and Software Industry Association, this event was designed to recognize companies that have contributed to revitalizing the national industry and economy through digital innovation. Channel Corporation received the honor, receiving high marks for its technological prowess, innovation, and potential for improving customer service efficiency using its AI agent, "ALF." Kim Byung-min, Deputy Mayor for Political Affairs of Seoul, attended the ceremony and presented the company with a plaque.
ChannelTalk's AI agent, Alp, understands natural language-based conversational context and responds to simple, repetitive inquiries. Within a year of its launch, it has been adopted by approximately 2,000 companies across fashion, beauty, travel, and F&B, achieving an average AI consultation resolution rate of over 40%. This allows agents to focus on more complex consultations.
To expand the scope of AI utilization, Channel Corporation launched 'Team Alp', an AI for internal work assistance, and 'Phone Alp', a voice AI consulting function, this year, and plans to introduce 'Alp v2', which can perform active tasks such as reservations, order changes, cancellations, exchanges, and returns, at the end of this month.
CEO Choi Si-won said, “This award is a recognition of our efforts to reduce the burden on counselors and improve customer experience through AI,” and added, “We will continue to lead digital transformation in the counseling field and contribute to the development of the Korean economy.”
ChannelTalk is an all-in-one AI business solution that offers a variety of features, including AI agent Alpha, chat consulting, CRM marketing, team messenger, internet phone, and video calling. It is currently being used by over 200,000 companies in 22 countries around the world.
